Dr. Razi's Urological Background
Dr. Razi graduated from UC Riverside, and then went on to UCLA Medical School, where he graduated with honors. He spent the next two years doing his general surgery residency at UC Irvine before realizing that the practice of urology was his true medical calling.
He switched gears and spent the following two years as a neuro-urology clinical research fellow at USC’s affiliate hospital, Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center, in Downey, California. There, Dr. Razi spent time investigating urologic conditions in spinal cord injured patients, and spearheaded many multi-center clinical trials. His researches led to many published articles and nationwide presentations.
Dr. Razi completed his urologic residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Prior to opening his own practice in Tracy in 2004, he spent four years with a group practice in West Palm Beach, Florida.
He has held a variety of seminars and conferences in Tracy, and has served as head of department of surgery at Sutter Tracy Hospital. In addition, Dr. Razi has been on many governing boards of both health and non-health related organizations. Dr. Razi is one of the founders of the Tracy Ambulatory Surgery Center, and currently serves on their board.
His wife, Dr. Rafat Razi, is a specialist in pediatric dentistry, and currently has her own practice in Tracy, California. She can be reached at (209) 834-1307.
